Art Chesmore was our Las Vegas private tour guide this year. We enjoyed hearing the history of the area as we drove to the Grand Canyon. Art is such a wealth of knowledge! We had a very fun day with great stories about Art's experiences as a tour guide. I would recommend Art to anyone interested in learning about the Southwest area of the United States. Great guy!

We had a fun day with Art soaking up all there was to see on our day trip out of Las Vegas. Art is a very knowledgeable guide and we felt in good hands all day. I'm glad we did it. Art knows the itinerary like the back of his hand,  worked so hard to help us avoid too many crowds. This truly was a day we will never forget.

I would just like to say what a wonderful time I had during my four day trip to the Grand Canyon (South Rim), Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.

My guide throughout the tour was Art Chesmore, who was a very informative Guide and nothing was a bother, whatever the other couple I was traveling with or I wanted to see or do Art obliged. Or if he saw something that he thought we would be Interested in looking at or taking a photograph he would stop and give It's time to have a look around.

Art was so full of interesting anecdotes on all the places we visited and just made My trip was better than I could have imagined and left me with everlasting memories.

Arthur Chesmore is a skilled and knowledgeable guide to the Southwest United States. For either large groups or individual tours he has explored smaller federal parks such as Bryce and Zion, or larger parks such as Yosemite and Sequoia National Park.

With informative museum trips, and the aid of Native American guides with their knowledge of petroglyphs, he paints an unforgettable picture of a remarkable United States area.

Personally, I’ve experienced several exciting tours of the Southwest during many multiple day trips with Art, and hope to return for more.

A delighted customer.

We had the most amazing trip with a small group led by Art Chesmore. 3 Nights the roundtrip transportation us from Las Vegas through Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon and Glen Canyon Dam, Lake Powell and Zion National Park.

The first day we arrived with many others in their large busses at the entrance to the Grand Canyon, we had just traveled here via route 66 in a small bus and had yet to realize how lucky we were to be separate from the main big bus tours. We stopped to photograph and walked from Mather Point to Bright Angel. We had plenty of quiet time to absorb photographs and enjoy the trail of time. The sunset was gorgeous from the Bright Angel Point. Staying in cabins overnight we had an early start to see the Desert View point watchtower the next day and then onwards as each new day brought on a different landscape.

Day two our Tour was in Monument Valley on the Navajo Reserve. Led by a Navajo guided jeep tour we entered into a landscape known from the John Wayne movies. The landscape was made of a very red dust with the most amazing rock formations including the Mittens and the Three sisters. We were greeted at the edge of their village by a horse on a cliff edge just like a scene from Lone ranger.

Staying overnight in hotel for an early start on day three we went to Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam visiting centre on the Colorado River leaning about this first of many Dams that include the famous Hoover Dam and stopped off at National monument visitors centre were we were lucky enough to meet Merle Graffam who discovered the predecessors of the Tyrannosaurus rex in 1999 Nothronychis Graffam. He treated us to a talk on the mural painted there, showing the animals of that period and explained that the land was eroding yearly and that is why there were such great opportunities to find new species. Our next stop was Bryce Canyon it’s landscape made up of beautiful pink and white colored formations that resembled stalagmites within the floor of a cave. It has a giant natural amphitheater created by erosion. We traveled from Rainbow point, Ponderosa canyon, The natural bridge and onto Fairyland point. Staying in a Best Western hotel at Ruby’s Inn was my favorite as it has access to horse riding, a small mock western village, a pool and spa and provided an amazing wonderful buffet. Ruby’s Inn has been providing for visitors since 1916 and has the biggest tourist shop even if you only get to drop in.

On the fourth Day we travelled to Zion National Park taking a beautiful walk along a river path giving us plenty of opportunities to look upwards towards huge rock walls that give such a wonderful array of colors within the fissures in the rock face. A great place to walk.

Art has enough experience of this trip to know when to talk and when to stand back and let you explore. I highly recommend Art.
